MONDAY March 20

Decorate Your Bike 11am
Campus Sustainability Tour 1:30pm
Join us for music, colours and prizes! We'll meet first to wildly decorate our bikes, then, at 1:30 pedal off on a tour of all the significant sustainability spots on campus as a celebration of sustainable transportation and the start of this exciting week!

TUESDAY March 21

>> Workshop: Shop Responsibly, SUB 205 12pm
This workshop will provoke dialogue about the role of individual choices in shaping corporate responsibility, and explore some inspiring case studies. It will also offer practical information about how to shop responsibly in Vancouver, and encourage the group to share ideas and tips from their own experience.

WEDNESDAY March 22

>> Workshop: Food Choices, SUB 211 5:00pm
Join presenters from Sprouts, the UBC Food Co-operative, and learn more about where your food comes from and the impact of your food choices.

THURSDAY March 23

>> Stuff Swap, SUB South 11am
Bring any used goods you don't need and exchange them for something you want!

>> Workshop: From Old to New, SUB 215 12pm
Join the Student Environment Centre for some tea and new ideas about remodeling old belongings into functional, fashionable new items. Bring an old belt to transform it into a sweet bracelet or just enjoy swapping ideas!

>> Oxfam Play-Fair Soccer Demo, Grassy Knoll 1pm
Wonder what it's like to fight an uphill battle? See how you do when the system works against you.

>> Panel Discussion, Hebb Theatre 5-7pm
"Is corporate social responsibility enough?"
Featuring Ron Monk of BC Hydro, Kierstin De West of Conscientious Innovation, Reilika Raestik from the GVRD, and Helen Goodland of the Sustainable Building Centre. The panel will discuss how consumers can shape business decisions and how these leaders are bringing sustainability to their careers. Come to listen, learn, ask questions, and network! Free organic snacks and refreshments!

Look for the Bike Co-op and community group Pedal Play outside the SUB for wacky bikes, pedal-powered smoothies, and bike safety and repair demonstrations.
